Our Team

At Vincitore’s Hudson Valley Piano Center, you will always find a relaxed, casual atmosphere where you can shop, discuss, and sample pianos at your own pace.

Jon P. Vincitore

Jon graduated in 1975 from Marist College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. He began working in the family music business at age 12 and through the years has gained invaluable hands-on experience in all the aspects of the piano business, including technical repair, rebuilding, moving, sales and marketing.

Jon assumed formal ownership of the company from his father Joseph in December of 1977. Today, Jon brings over 45 years of practical knowledge and experience to the table for the benefit of Vincitore’s customers. Through his many years at the helm, he has maintained his family’s understanding and commitment to education and support services on which his customers continue to depend.

Michael J. Vincitore

Michael, a 1974 Marist graduate, brings extraordinary expertise and perspective to his position at Vincitore’s. He wears many hats, and contributes in sales, logistics, technical piano service and operations management. Michael trained in his early years in a unique apprenticeship program under Daniel Mazzilli of the Bronx, in New York. Mr. Mazzilli was a well respected, ‘old school’, piano rebuilder whose background included many years as a Foreman for Steinway in New York. Here he learned from hands-on experience the fine art of piano rebuilding and regulation. Later, Michael attended and was further trained under Yamaha’s ‘Little Red Schoolhouse’ program. His exposure to both, old world craftsmanship and Yamaha’s modern production methods gives Michael an invaluable perspective to the industry that is hard to match.
